Space-to-Space RSO Imaging

Dynamics for imaging independent spacecraft, rather than RSO surface points.

class RSOTargetDynModel(satellite, dyn_rate, priority=250, **kwargs)[source]

Bases: BasicDynamicsModel

Propagate after world ephemerides (300), before observer dynamics (200).

class SpaceToSpaceImagingDynModel(*args, **kwargs)[source]

Bases: ImagingDynModel

Equips the satellite with an instrument, storage unit, and transmitter.

This dynamics model is used with ImagingSatellite. It provides the satellite with the ability to take images of a point target. To enable downlink, use GroundStationDynModel and GroundStationWorldModel.

setup_instrument(instrumentBaudRate, **kwargs) → None[source]

Use the existing one-tick instrument; its argument denotes image bits.

Return type:

None

setup_transmitter(transmitterPacketSize, **kwargs) → None[source]

Allow a partially transmitted image to resume across ground contacts.

The existing transmitter otherwise requires a full packet to restart after contact loss. One-bit packets allow partial buffers to drain; the image ledger, rather than transmitter packet size, defines complete image delivery.

Return type:

None

setup_imaging_target(imageTargetMaximumRange: float, priority=1900, **kwargs) → None[source]

Create per-imager access; explicitly honor an optional range [m].

Parameters:

imageTargetMaximumRange (float)

Return type:

None

bind_rso_target(target) → None[source]

Register a target and retain its actual access output, independent of ID.

Return type:

None
